It Gets Better After Fourty!

Do you guys remember thinking fourty was sooo old? I couldn’t even image celebrating a 40th birthday back in my teen years. Them folks were old, lol.

Now here I am on the other side of fourty and let me tell you, life is just beginning for me. All those years, all those enriched experiences between my 20’s and 40’s, the test, the triumphs, the set backs, the disappointments, have all created this amazing women I’m clothed in today. I absolutely love the skin I’m in. Because of where I’ve come from and what I’ve experienced, I’m so much wiser and prepared for this journey I’m on. Oh and don’t let me forget, NOT WILLING TO TAKE NONSENSE from anybody. I really do believe this type of confidence peaks after the age of fourty.

I’m finding that the moral of my story is that all of the good I want, hope for and pursue is supercharged when it’s challenged by the set backs and disappointments that do not fit the picture. The contrast is what makes my vision more crystal clear of the things I want and am creating into my reality.

How about you? How do you view your set backs? Do you use them as a measure to say ok, thank you, now I understand more clearly what I want because this is certainly NOT IT? Or do you allow disappointment and losses to cloud your vision and stop you? I am here to tell you that you are unstoppable, unless YOU stop. You hold the power in your hands. Keep moving forward sis one action step at a time until you arrive at your destination.

I’m living my best life now because I refuse to stop moving, especially in my darkest days.
